About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Customer Service Representative at Goldfish Swim School. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales and registration transactions, and promoting a positive image for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process student registrations, sales, and other transactions using effective sales and customer service techniques.
  • Schedule and manage birthday and pool parties, supervising private party staff as needed.
  • Assist members with purchases of merchandise and vending, and maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Monitor the Snack Shack area and provide guidance to Snack Shack staff, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our members.
  • Check voicemail and email correspondence, responding in a timely manner and updating informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature.
  • Provide occasional administrative support to management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
  • Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems and prepares twice daily student lesson schedules for use by instructors and management staff.
  • May be required to be on the pool deck as a lifeguard or swim instructor, after proper training provided by Goldfish.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents, administer first aid when necessary, and fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
  • Two years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience required.
  • Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel, and other software systems.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification can be provided during training if not currently certified.
Work Environment

While performing this job, the employee is exposed to heat and humidity occasionally. Noise level is usually moderate.

Each Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. The respective Franchisee is the employer at each Goldfish Swim School location. Each franchisee can set their own wages, benefit programs, and terms and conditions of employment, which may vary at each Goldfish Swim School location.
