At Behavioral Health Network, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Mentor to join our team of human services professionals. As a Therapeutic Mentor, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support children with behavioral health challenges, helping them achieve stability and success in their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one structured therapeutic activities in the community, modeling, coaching, and encouraging achievement of goals that support behavior change and success.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide high-quality team-based care.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of community resources and help clients access them.
- Develop and implement strategies to facilitate achievement of agreed-upon goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma, associate degree, or Bachelor's degree.
- At least two years' experience working with the target population.
- Previous experience working with children with Serious Emotional Disturbance.
- Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Good communication skills and interest in helping others.
