Oncology Care Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at American Oncology Network LLC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our expert team in providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in the care and teaching of patients
- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status through interviews, health histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic studies
- Write prescriptions and provide therapeutic measures as needed
- Participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds to ensure patients receive appropriate and quality care
- Provide on-call coverage and perform hospital rounds as needed
- Document and report patient care in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program
- Master's degree required
- APRN or PA license in the appropriate state, prescriptive privileges, or eligibility to apply
- Current certification from ANCC or ONS (AOCN-P)
- Current BLS
- Minimum 5 years experience as APRN or PA, specifically in Oncology
