Job Description:

As a Medical Device Assembler - Microscope Specialist at Aerotek, you will be responsible for manufacturing medical devices, including catheter assembly under a microscope. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing and Assembly: Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.
  • Training and Development: Successfully complete training on production tasks, including understanding travelers/routers, identifying materials, using a microscope, and operating production/inspection tools and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to ensure product integrity and quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work directly with Engineers/Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality at all times, and collaborate with Engineers to develop process documentation.
  • Inventory Management: Perform inventory counts and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Hard Skills: Microscope Assembly, Catheter Assembly, Inspection, SOP, Line Clearance, Working with adhesives (different Loctite), EFD dispensers, and UV curing system.
  • Soft Skills: Communication Skills.

Work Environment:

  • Cleanroom environment.
