Job Summary

GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled Client Systems Technician to support our USAF customer in the Cyber Mission Force. This is a fully on-site position located at the Kelly Annex in San Antonio, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain smooth operation of computer systems, including operating systems, software, and hardware, in networked or stand-alone configurations.
• Maintain system integrity and upgrade systems and/or servers as required.
• Create and document new methods supporting network/system operations and implement changes to procedures.
• Consult with support teams, help desks, customers, and other technical staff in the resolution of problems.
• Coordinate and perform operation and/or maintenance activities for networks/servers, identify recurring problems, and recommend steps to reduce their severity or frequency.

Requirements

• Clearance required: TS/SCI
• High School with 3 - 6 years (or commensurate experience)
• IAT Level 1 Certified
• Hands-on operating systems support experience
• Hands-on experience with antivirus endpoint protection configurations
• Experience with virtual machine environments such as VMWare
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating environments
• Experience with VoIP systems
• Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms and deployments
• Experience in scripting for use in administration automation and monitoring a plus
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
