Job Summary:
Matrix Innovations is seeking a skilled Facilities Equipment Specialist to join our team in the Cemetery Operations and Crematorium department. As a key member of our Green and Gruga team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cremation facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise crematorium attendants and maintain a safe working environment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cremation ovens, incineration systems, and other technical equipment
- Monitor and adjust computer-controlled systems to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct regular inspections of technical equipment and report any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with manufacturers to resolve technical issues and implement upgrades
Requirements:
- Completed training as a Facilities Technician (formerly known as Heating and Ventilation Technician or Gas-Water-Installer)
- Desirable experience working in a crematorium environment
- Strong knowledge of facility and control technology
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn specialized software
