Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Orlando Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention while adhering to MRI safety principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor that is complimentary to quality care.
  • Deliver appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
  • Adhere to Orlando Health's mission statements and strategic imperatives.
  • Assess the patient's physical condition and age-specific needs.
  • Provide instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
  • Perform proper patient identification, acquire patient clinical history, and assure that the information is accurately documented.
  • Position patient, equipment, associated devices, and manipulate technical factors to achieve high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Assess diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated.
Requirements
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or;
  • Valid American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or;
  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification.
  • Maintain current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida (Preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or;
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography or;
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
