Cable Assembler Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cable Assembler to join our team at a leading manufacturer of small electronics in the aerospace and defense industry. As a Cable Assembler, you will be responsible for building wire harnesses, safely using soldering irons and calipers, and reading blueprints prior to assembly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies with precision and accuracy
  • Safely operate semi-automatic equipment, including crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire strippers
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly
  • Test and visually inspect wire harnesses and cable assemblies to ensure quality and reliability
  • Work collaboratively with a team to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cable assembly or a related field
  • Strong understanding of electronics and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
