We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Fill orders with accuracy and maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances
- Enter orders and patient information with accuracy and aid in the training of new staff
- Update the Director on the daily activities of the pharmacy and aid in maintaining the pharmacy
- Correct orders entered in error or misunderstood and review and respond to all Holds by nursing
- Post debits/credits accurately and follow all ATS conversions based on substitutions approved by P&T
- Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE)
- Current MA Pharmacist License
- One to two years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Hospital pharmacy residency preferred
