We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracting Specialist to join our team at ERIMAX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracting procedures, methods, and contract types, with a proven track record of successfully managing contracts from initiation to award.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all contracting transactions, including procurement of items or services with specialized requirements and performance of contract awards. They will also support the contract administration process, applying expertise on the body of statutory and regulatory guidance impacting acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in a recognized expert professional position requiring a high level of specialized knowledge and experience related to supporting the development and implementation of a wide range of Federal contract types.
- Support the contract administration process, applying expertise on the body of statutory and regulatory guidance impacting acquisitions.
- Conduct cost/price analysis, fee/profit fee analysis, and technical and contractual negotiations leading to an award of contracts.
- Perform a full range of post-award functions, including processing delivery orders, options, change orders, and performing contract closeouts.
- Process all supporting documentation for the award, including determination and findings, justification and approvals, administrative determinations, competitive range determination, and business clearance memorandum.
- Analyze the performance of procurement activities against various procurement indicators and goals.
- Provide principal policy advice, analyzing comments and proposed legislative changes.
- Develop, implement and analyze data requirements for planning and measurement systems.
Requirements:
- Education: BA/BS or technical training with at least 10 years of experience.
- A minimum of 10-years of experience in contracting or related positions.
- Prism.
- Specialized experience is progressively responsible experience that provided knowledge of contracting procedures, methods, a variety of contract types and use of special provisions and incentives to plan and carry out pre-award and/or post-award contract assignments for the acquisition of products, professional or non-professional services, or construction.
- FAC-C Level II or III, or a DAWIA level II or III certification.
