Job Overview

The LPN Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing high-quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medication and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner.
  • Document medication administration and conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
  • Transcribe orders and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
  • Report all resident concerns and accidents/incidents immediately.
Requirements:
  • LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
