Quality Systems Supervisor

CPP Cudahy is seeking a highly skilled Quality Systems Supervisor to lead our Quality team in implementing and maintaining our quality program and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cross-functionally and possess a broad knowledge of manufacturing and quality landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards, including AS9100
  • Evaluate the adequacy of quality assurance standards and devise sampling procedures
  • Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
  • Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
  • Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data and analyze it to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
  • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
  • Support on-site audits conducted by external providers and evaluate audit findings
  • Direct supervision of Final Inspection, Shipping, and Audit
  • Responsible for implementation of document management systems and ensuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry standards
  • Monitor and review calibration recall activities and adherence to all safety policies, practices, and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality and quality systems, including AS9100
  • Strong knowledge of standards and core auditing tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with multiple levels of personnel and departments
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Strong GD&T knowledge and inspection skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a technical field
  • Familiarity with the aerospace casting industry and related processes
  • Strong communication skills, good PC skills, and program management skills
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
  • Able to work independently with minimal directions

This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of $80-$100K.
