You will use your technical knowledge to actively participate in internal and external meetings, and provide thorough and accurate documentation of calculations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing basic site design work on site plans and construction drawings using Civil 3D
  • Researching design criteria based on project scope and jurisdictional requirements
  • Performing site design calculations and analysis based on researched codes and regulations
  • Providing detailed civil engineering studies and reports
  • Reviewing technical and civil engineering drawing markups and making revisions accordingly
  • Applying civil engineering technology to the design and production of various projects
  • Ensuring effective civil engineering methodology is adhered to according to industry standards
  • Managing workload assignments for departmental co-ops
  • Attending internal and external client meetings

Position requirements include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Passage of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam is preferred
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, HydroCAD, Microsoft Office Suite
