Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at Carle Health. This role will provide crisis intervention and case management services to youth and families in the community setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management services to youth and families, utilizing motivational interviewing skills and crisis interventions to ensure safety and determine appropriate course of action.
  • Exercise judgment and decision-making that is clinically safe, logical, and deliberate, recognizing and respecting the values and cultural beliefs of clients, their families, and community resources and referrals.
  • Work with law enforcement, emergency departments, and other emergency personnel in crisis situations, providing follow-up case management as assigned.
  • Maintain appropriate treatment boundaries with clients and family members, maintaining required productivity and completing clinical documentation and other forms of communication in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Counseling and Guidance, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Pastoral Counseling, Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Psychologist License in Illinois.
  • Ability to work with all different age groups, basic computer skills, and ability to keyboard, completing documentation in the electronic and/or paper medical record.
  • Ability to drive in a variety of weather conditions and perform de-escalation techniques and tolerate stressful situations with patients and families.
