ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Cage Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the Cage/Credit department. This position is responsible for managing staff, achieving operational objectives, and ensuring financial integrity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the budgeting process for the department and provide insights to ensure adherence to financial goals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and actively promote a positive guest experience.
- Respond effectively to management requests regarding guest interactions and concerns.
- Conduct thorough investigations into discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Manage inventory of operational supplies, ensuring staff have the necessary tools for efficiency.
- Implement and oversee employee recognition programs to enhance engagement.
- Safeguard the integrity of all assets and supervise the balancing of cage banks.
- Review and authorize cage documentation in line with established protocols.
- Prepare and analyze currency transaction reports.
- Assess credit line availability and review transaction logs for accuracy.
- Address guest inquiries and manage service recovery within authorized limits.
- Ensure all staff are trained in compliance procedures and that documentation is completed accurately.
- Create effective work schedules to optimize department operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A/B.S.) or equivalent experience; a combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, and possess strong keyboarding skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
