Clinical Nurse Specialist

Scott County Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Specialty Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including vital signs, weights, and other relevant measurements.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Current licensure as an LPN or RN in the state of employment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a specialty clinic or similar environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
