About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Architect Staff-CFO Systems who will function as a domain-level technical expert and advisor to our business stakeholders, IT leadership, Business Analysts, and Enterprise Architecture function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting technology direction and ensuring project implementation compliance
  • Utilizing technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions
  • Identifying, integrating, and aligning technical strategy and direction for all of USAA
  • Cultivating productive and trusted relationships with business and IT stakeholders
  • Providing leadership and guidance to influence and shape priority, cost transparency, and execution of architecture solutions and domain direction
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement
  • 10 years of experience in the Information Technology field, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role within IT
  • Experience in technology application development and/or infrastructure and operational implementation
  • Deep knowledge in a minimum of one technology domain
  • Demonstrated experience in explaining complex technology decisions to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience effectively communicating and developing high trust relationships with frontline and second-level management and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in architect role for large-scale ERP implementation (preferably SAP S/4HANA and/or Oracle Cloud)
  • Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay processes and payments industry-specific processes/requirements and recent trends
  • Experience in designing scalable and efficient system architecture
  • Extensive experience in leading large-scale implementations and transformations with integration platforms and related technologies
