About the Role

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Patient Account Representative to join our team. As a key member of our business office staff, you will be responsible for resolving account balances with patients and insurance companies through inbound and outbound calls. This is a hybrid position, working three days from home and two days in our Lewisville office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve account balances with patients and insurance companies through inbound and outbound calls
  • Follow client policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely resolution of accounts
  • Perform account reviews, updates, and medical billing tasks as assigned
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and insurance companies
  • Meet or exceed daily call requirements and account resolution targets
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year experience in customer service or a healthcare setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • PC skills in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word and Excel
