Job Title: Patient Account Representative
Job Summary:
Guidehouse is seeking a Patient Account Representative to join our team. As a Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for resolving patient account balances by communicating with patients and insurance companies. This is a hybrid position working three days from home and two days in our Lewisville office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve patient account balances by communicating with patients and insurance companies
- Perform account reviews and updates
- Provide customer service to patients and insurance companies
- Process medical billing and insurance claims
- Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year experience working in customer service or a healthcare setting
- Strong customer service skills and verbal communication skills
- PC skills in a Windows environment, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
