Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine and interpret financial records, tax documents, and related reports
  • Prepare and file tax returns for various entities including individuals, corporations, and partnerships
  • Conduct in-depth tax research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on tax planning to optimize their tax positions
  • Generate financial statements and necessary supporting schedules
  • Perform essential accounting tasks such as journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Facilitate effective communication with clients and colleagues to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Utilize UltraTax software proficiently for tax preparation and filing
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
  • CPA certification preferred or in progress
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or tax compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with UltraTax software is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
