Key Responsibilities:- Examine and interpret financial records, tax documents, and related reports
- Prepare and file tax returns for various entities including individuals, corporations, and partnerships
- Conduct in-depth tax research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws
- Provide strategic advice to clients on tax planning to optimize their tax positions
- Generate financial statements and necessary supporting schedules
- Perform essential accounting tasks such as journal entries and account reconciliations
- Facilitate effective communication with clients and colleagues to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Utilize UltraTax software proficiently for tax preparation and filing
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- CPA certification preferred or in progress
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or tax compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with UltraTax software is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
