Compensation: Pay ranges from $11.00 to $14.00 per hour based on experience. A sign-on bonus may be available, subject to certain conditions.

Experience in Phone Repair is a Plus

Your role will involve consultative selling of batteries, light bulbs, and related accessories to both retail and commercial clients. You will engage with customers in a friendly manner, actively listen to their needs regarding batteries and lighting solutions, and provide tailored recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct battery tests, installations, and rebuild battery packs.
  • Contribute positively as a team member to enhance the overall success of the store.
  • Assist customers with a focus on integrity, reliability, and exceptional service.
  • Perform sales duties, including greeting customers, identifying their needs, and answering inquiries.
  • Suggest additional products to enhance sales and participate in achieving sales targets.
  • Utilize the computer and cash register for processing sales transactions.
  • Manage phone inquiries and ensure timely communication of messages.
  • Maintain store appearance and uphold inventory standards.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Engage as a proactive team member, ensuring commitments are met.

Merchandising and Inventory Management:

  • Stock and rotate inventory as needed and perform inventory counts.
  • Install batteries and conduct technical work as required.
  • Organize displays and maintain retail shelf pricing.
  • Prepare the store for daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with at least 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to quickly learn about our products and processes.
  • Strong listening and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Organizational and analytical problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read gauges are required.
  • Technical aptitude or experience is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn smartphone and tablet repair techniques.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
