Job Summary

As an Optician at LensCrafters, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice on eyewear selection. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and use your knowledge of optical products to make recommendations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Conduct eye exams and take measurements to ensure accurate fitting of eyewear.
  • Recommend and sell optical products, including glasses, contact lenses, and sunglasses.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and use your knowledge of optical products to make recommendations.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the optical industry.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • ABO certification preferred.
  • Optical dispensing experience required.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise and ability to stay up-to-date on new products and trends.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
