- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and uphold clinic standards.
- Support daily clinic operations by:
- Handling patient registration, check-in, and discharge.
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-ups.
- Verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information.
- Scanning health record documents.
- Collecting payments, co-pays, and prior balances.
- Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth clinic experience.
- Review clinic schedules and follow check-in/discharge protocols.
- Provide general patient services, including addressing concerns and resolving complaints with the office manager.
- Work on scheduling and coordinating ancillary and consult appointments.
- Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about insurance, parking, and available programs.
- Assist in training new care access associates and stay updated through daily email communications.
- Maintain a safe and aesthetically pleasing clinic environment.
- Monitor office supplies and ensure proper functioning of office equipment.
- Perform related duties as needed to support the department.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience in an access center, customer service, or healthcare setting.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
- Higher education may substitute for required experience.
