About the Role

This part-time Clinical Assistant position is available in our 12-hour Night Shift department, working weekends and holidays as scheduled.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist physicians and provide top-notch patient care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering compassionate care and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and report accurate patient information and data
  • Support patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing, dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility, and ambulation
  • Patient transportation
  • Specimen collection
  • Distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms
  • Delivering ice and beverages to patients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from a Connecticut-approved Nurse Aide Training Program (preferred) or significant previous healthcare-related experience
  • BLS certification required
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check
