Job Overview

Beacon Hill Life Sciences in Boston is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Associate to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in the production of single-use devices, ensuring that quality and quantity are met.

About the Role

The successful candidate will perform various activities, including assembly, washing, and gluing sub-assemblies, while maintaining cleanliness of workspace and tooling. They will also interface with QA representatives and production personnel to maintain product flow and identify non-conforming products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly: Assemble single-use ATF devices, following SOPs and training, ensuring quality and quantity are produced. This includes assembling components for suATF devices, reading and following drawings, maintaining lot traceability of components, using machines to conduct integrity testing, and visual inspection of components.
  • Washing: Wash sub-assemblies, following SOPs and training, in Steris parts washer. Perform visual inspection of components, maintain lot traceability of components, and ensure all process documentation is completed correctly.
  • Glueing: Glue sub-assemblies, following SOPs and training, using UV glue to create sub-assembly parts. Perform visual inspection of components, maintain lot traceability of components, and ensure all process documentation is completed correctly.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of workspace and tooling.
  • Interface with QA: Interface with QA representative and production personnel to maintain flow of product and identify non-conforming products.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently once training has been completed
  • High attention to detail applied to all aspects of daily activities
  • Computer literate, preferably with MS Office and SAP

Salary

$60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience
