Glendive Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients breathe easy and manage their respiratory conditions.
About the Role:- Provide respiratory therapy services to inpatients with chronic lung conditions, such as asthma, emphysema, and acute conditions like bronchitis and pneumonia.
- Work with patients who have cystic fibrosis and lung cancer, as well as those who have experienced lung damage due to a heart attack or trauma.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop treatment plans and provide hands-on education to patients on using their inhalers and managing medications.
- Perform diagnostic services and outpatient testing, including Holter/event monitors, EKGs, stress testing, and pulmonary function tests.
- Satisfactory completion of a respiratory therapist program from a nationally accredited respiratory therapy school.
- Ability to meet NBRT registry requirements.
Full-time position, 3 days a week, 12-hour days with rotating call and occasional weekend.
