Job Summary:

The Clinical Social Worker will work collaboratively with the CAST team to assess and stabilize individuals in crisis, providing on-site assessments, in-home training, and support. This role requires a strong understanding of developmental disabilities, crisis intervention, and behavioral health principles.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in crisis to identify needs and develop stabilization plans.
  • Provide in-home training and support to individuals and their families to promote long-term mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery and promote a culture of recovery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regional centers, hospitals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective crisis intervention services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in crisis assessment and stabilization.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Valid California Driver's License (CDL) and a clean driving record.
  • Pass a background investigation and medical clearance.
  • Current Clinical Social Worker License.
  • One year of experience in a related field, preferably in crisis assessment and stabilization.
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent travel to various locations, including STAR residences, hospitals, and community settings. The Clinical Social Worker may be required to work extended hours, varying shifts, and site locations to meet staffing requirements.
