Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Sovah Health - Martinsville. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
  • Experience in clinical area preferred
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
