Medical Care Assistant

At Adventist Health, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team in the Portland area.
This role involves providing personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN). You will be responsible for performing tasks associated with activities of daily living, including assisting with nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints, and restorative care.
As a Medical Care Assistant, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. You will also be responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties, including routing patient reports as appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
