Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Facilities Engineer to enhance our team in Toledo, Ohio. This role involves overseeing the operation, inspection, and upkeep of all commercial building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire safety, and HVAC systems, aimed at optimizing efficiency. The Facilities Engineer will prioritize safety and minimize downtime through proactive performance evaluations and scheduled maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and company policies regarding building operations and safety protocols.
  • Manage, operate, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment, electrical distribution systems, plumbing infrastructure, and perform interior/exterior repairs.
  • Conduct inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to verify that equipment operates within design specifications.
  • Execute assigned repairs and perform emergency and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and coordinate external assistance as necessary.
  • Analyze historical maintenance records to create and implement proactive inspection and maintenance schedules.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in commercial building maintenance and HVAC certification is essential.
  • This position requires operation of company vehicles; a valid driver's license is mandatory.
