Position Summary:

As a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, you will provide direct patient care to include Congenital ECHO, Two-dimensional ECHO, Three-dimensional ECHO, M-mode, Doppler, and Color Flow Imaging, EKGs, Holter Monitoring, Holter EKG Scanning. You will also train other medical staff, demonstrate knowledge of digital systems, and prepare preliminary reports. Collaboration with other healthcare team members is essential in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide echocardiography services to pediatric patients with congenital cardiac conditions
  • Train other medical staff on echocardiography procedures and techniques
  • Prepare preliminary reports and communicate results to healthcare team members
  • Collaborate with cardiology team members, including physicians, nurses, and medical assistants
  • Work closely with the cardiology team to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer
  • Pediatric cardiac sonographer certification required
  • Fetal Echo experience preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently
Education/Licensure/Certifications:
  • A.S. Degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular Technology
  • Current AHA CPR/BLS certification
  • Current ARDMS Registry
Pay Scale Information:

The pay scale for this position is USD $80, USD $138,496.80. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on education and experience within the job or industry.
