Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing final inspections, in-process inspections, and 1st article inspections to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and evaluate parts to print specifications using a variety of tools and techniques, including micrometers, indicators, and comparators.
- Conduct 1st article inspections to ensure that our products meet the required specifications and standards.
- Perform in-process inspections to identify and correct any defects or issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of customer specifications and requirements, including those related to aerospace and defense.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and other quality-related activities.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documents with a strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry standards and regulations.
