Job Summary

Dogwood Industries LLC is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Roofer to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for assembling sheet metal components and materials efficiently and accurately in accordance with plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble skeleton and square frames
  • Install metal and insulation sheeting
  • Operate material handling equipment and tools
  • Ensure a safe work environment through organization and housekeeping
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in roofing, construction, or manufacturing
  • Experience in carpentry and trade skills
  • Ability to operate non-specialized shop equipment and hand tools
  • Participate in process development for repeatable task execution
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred experience in metal building and construction installation
Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Full range of mobility in upper and lower body
  • Ability to reach overhead and work in various positions
  • Use of hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
  • Lifting, pulling, and pushing material and equipment
  • Lifting up to 70 pounds
