Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary

As a Diesel Mechanic with First Student, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of school buses and school bus equipment. This includes testing drive repaired equipment, oiling and greasing vehicles, changing filters, and notifying the supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain school buses and school bus equipment
• Test drive repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Oil and grease vehicles to maintain proper lubrication
• Change filters to ensure optimal performance
• Notify the supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor
