About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part Time Store Associate to join our team at Office Depot. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Centric Experience:
    • Provide personalized support to customers, addressing their needs and preferences to create a positive shopping experience.
    • Utilize our sales program to promote the sale of relevant products and services, ensuring customers receive the best solutions for their needs.
    • Stay informed about upcoming promotions, sales, and loyalty programs to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales.
  • Store Operations Commitment:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
    • Ensure accurate signage, labeling, and merchandise presentation, adhering to established standards.
    • Process freight and inventory management tasks efficiently, including scanning, investigating, and filling inventory lows and outs.
  • Print and Tech Expertise:
    • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge through training and education, ensuring expertise in sales and service tools.
    • Continuously update knowledge and skills to meet the evolving needs of customers and the business.
  • Sales Techniques:
    • Apply sales principles and techniques to create engaging customer interactions, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
    • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices, supporting loss prevention efforts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • No prior experience required, but basic computer skills and ability to use technology for information and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to read, count, and write accurately to complete documentation and process inventory.
  • Client-focused, positive, and engaging, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
