Safety & Security:
Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Possess a strong understanding of security protocols and guide employees on loss prevention methods.
Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all equipment is safe and functional.
Team Development:
Foster a collaborative team atmosphere throughout the store.
Assist team members in accessing resources to enhance their performance.
Encourage a positive work environment that promotes motivation and high morale.
Communication:
Ensure compliance with company policies and report any unusual incidents promptly.
Engage in monthly team meetings to discuss performance, goals, and safety.
Utilize company resources for information and reporting issues.
Coaching & Mentorship:
Create a supportive environment conducive to self-motivation and productivity.
Provide immediate feedback on team performance and implement necessary improvements.
Guide and mentor all employees, directing them to training opportunities as needed.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Familiarity with retail building materials and general retail operations is preferred.
Physical capability to handle merchandise and perform manual tasks is necessary.
This position may be classified as salaried or hourly based on location. While successful candidates may explore further opportunities within the company, there is no guaranteed career progression.
