About the Role:
New Balance is seeking a highly skilled Sales Associate to join our retail team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and promoting our products to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized customer service, utilizing expert product knowledge to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
- Utilize effective selling techniques to drive sales, including suggestive selling, multiple selling, and effective closing.
- Measure and fit customers with appropriate New Balance products, ensuring a perfect fit every time.
- Stay up-to-date on promotions, products, and services to inform customers and drive sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including labeling and pricing merchandise.
- Protect company assets by monitoring floor merchandise, reporting shrinkage and security violations, and adhering to safety regulations.
Requirements for Success:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with cash register functions and basic math skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
