Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transplant RN Liver Coordinator to join our team at MUSC. This role will play a critical part in coordinating transplant services for liver patients, ensuring seamless transitions between pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant phases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced clinical management strategies to promote quality care for transplant patients
  • Provide education and training to new staff members to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional care
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes in UNOS and CMS
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions between departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required
  • Three years of related nursing experience
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
