Job Opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologist

Soliant is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for a small school district in Oregon, IL. This is a great opportunity for clinicians who enjoy working in a collaborative environment and have experience with speech and language interventions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
  • Present evaluation results and propose IEP goals at IEP meetings
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
  • Provide reports of a student's progress to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License, issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Professional Educators' License (PEL), issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
