- Operate under the guidance of nursing and medical staff to fulfill the duties of a PCT, assisting patients with daily living activities such as hygiene, dressing, and nutrition.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, preparing reports for registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Measure and record vital signs, as well as collect samples for laboratory analysis.
- Facilitate basic patient transport and maintain cleanliness in the patient care environment.
- Additionally, this role involves tracking patients' intake and output, as well as assisting with mobility exercises as per unit protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in Basic Life Support.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in acute or long-term care settings.
- Completion of an accredited CNA, PCT, or paramedic training program, or current enrollment in a nursing program.
