Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the test firing of rocket engines, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Program, set up, and operate data acquisition systems for hot fire testing of liquid rocket engines, including calibration of test equipment and instrumentation.
  • Perform complex assignments involving data reduction software, including data analysis and interpretation.
  • Contribute practical solutions to problems that may arise while completing assigned tasks, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Perform data reduction of hot fire tests, providing accurate and reliable results.
  • Determine proper connection of test cell instruments to the data acquisition system, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Set up and verify test cell instrumentation systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Perform complex modification and repair of electronic systems and components, including troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Clean, repair, calibrate, and operate gages, transducers, flow meters, and force systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Work to controlled documentation, procedures, and drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Occasionally work in and around rocket test cells, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • An Associates degree in a related field with at least 2 years of experience as an APDT or 6 years of related experience, or a Four-year technical degree in a related field with at least 2 years of experience as an APDT or 4 years of related experience.

Additional Details

  • Shift is 7am- 3:30pm M-F.
  • 100% onsite.
