About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Cambridge International Systems Inc. in Charleston, SC.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, planning, modifying, and maintaining networks and network components supporting data, voice, and/or audio communication activities.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex systems and networks
  • Evaluate new technologies and report on their potential impact on our network capabilities
  • Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to deliver successful design products
  • Utilize controlled documentation and government standards, application guides, and industry best practices to support the design and installation process
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferred)
  • 4-6+ years of relevant experience directly related to network engineering design
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance (required)
  • Proficiency with various network topographies (data center, LAN, and WAN)
  • Experience with virtualized and software-defined networks (VMWare, CISCO, etc.)
  • CCNA certification (desired)
  • Familiarity with TCP, secure protocols, and firewall configuration activities
