Network Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Cambridge International Systems Inc. in Charleston, SC.

Job Overview

This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to design, analyze, and maintain complex networks and network components. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems that support data, voice, and audio communication activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network architecture, including planning, analysis, and modification of existing networks
  • Evaluate new technologies and network performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementation
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of network systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network hardware and software interconnection and interfacing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful network designs and implementations
Requirements:
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • 6-10+ years of experience in network engineering design
  • Proficiency in using different technologies, including computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position
  • Cognizant of network topologies and understanding necessary configuration
  • CCNA certification; CCNP certification preferred
