Patient Access Team Lead

Job Summary:
The Lead Patient Access Representative will serve as a department resource to registration and financial counseling staff, leading by example and pursuing goals under the direction of management. This role requires outstanding registration, communication, and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to registration and financial counseling staff
- Lead by example and demonstrate excellent registration, communication, and teamwork skills
- Work collaboratively with staff, patients, guarantors, insurance companies, physicians, and other stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and timely registration and financial counseling services
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Two years of previous work-related experience in a physician, medical office, and/or hospital registration and/or financial counseling setting
- Leadership and/or supervisory experience and college degree or other evidence of continuing education preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment
- Mature, dependable, and conscientious
Equipment and Physical Requirements:
- Use of computers, with the ability to utilize a variety of software programs as needed
- Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the job
Pay Range:
$23.40-$32.18
The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidates' relevant experience and skills.
