The role of a Travel Nurse RN at Saint Elizabeth Edgewood involves providing essential nursing care in a dynamic emergency room setting. This position requires a dedicated professional with the ability to adapt to various clinical environments.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring), and NIH Stroke Certification.
- Verification: State License 1 Verification, NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP), and Tech Cert Verification are essential.
- Competency Assessments: Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, Color Blind Testing Online, and required competencies for Core Parts I, II, and III.
- This position will primarily focus on an ER holding/admissions unit.
- Prior travel nursing experience is essential.
- Familiarity with EPIC software is required.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
- Personal appearance guidelines include no visible nose rings or gauged earrings, and nails must be kept to a length of less than 1/4 inch; natural fingernails are required, with acceptable polish.
- Proof of I-9 or Attestation is required.
- A government-issued photo ID must be carried during service hours.
- Proof of E-Verify or Attestation is necessary.
- Parking is available free of charge in unrestricted spaces.
