Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

At Pediatrix Medical Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our neonatal care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to families in our Level III and Level IV NICUs.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive neonatal care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, including physical exams, lab results, and medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide emotional support and education to families, addressing their concerns and needs.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current APRN national specialty certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
