Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class A Local Truck Driver to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products to our customers in the Hudson, NY area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute trips, including breaks, fuel stops, and customer appointments, while managing unforeseen circumstances such as weather, traffic, and construction.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, sitting for several hours at a time.
  • Load, unload, and transport products according to ADM and customer requirements.
  • Meet weekly mileage targets and adhere to government, company, and customer policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • 24 years of age or older
  • One year of verifiable OTR or local tractor trailer experience required in the last seven years
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License REQUIRED
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • No more than one chargeable accident within the last three years
  • No more than one moving violation in the last three years
  • No convictions of D.U.I., D.U.S., or open container in the last 7 years
  • No positive controlled substance/alcohol tests from prior employer
Preferred Qualifications
  • Tanker Endorsement
  • Previous experience with pneumatic trailers
