Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Pharmacy Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and involves a 13-week assignment with a standard 40-hour work week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds in the ICU from Monday to Friday.
- Engage in antibiotic stewardship initiatives across the facility.
- Provide clinical support to medical and surgical units, including attending rounds and addressing clinical inquiries.
- Collaborate with pharmacy personnel to resolve clinical questions.
Patient Demographics:
- Focus on adult inpatient care, with pediatric cases managed in the emergency department only.
- No labor and delivery cases will be handled.
Equipment and Systems:
- Proficiency in Epic, Pyxis, and I-vent systems is essential; experience with Pharmacy One Source is preferred.
Work Environment:
- Scrub color is designated as green.
- Experience in ICU settings and antibiotic stewardship is required.
