Job Summary:

As a Scrub Technician with LADGOV CORPORATION, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your primary responsibility will be to provide clinical surgical scrubbing services for various procedures, including Cardiothoracic, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, and Orthopedic Surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile fields and maintain sterile conditions during procedures.
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment such as microscopes, lasers, and laparoscopic tools.
• Assist the surgical team by anticipating their needs, managing supplies, positioning patients, and ensuring all surgical materials are accounted for.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a busy operating room with exposure to complex surgical cases.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and, ideally, certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technologist.
• Proven ability to maintain a sterile environment, adhere to infection control standards, and respond to critical situations in surgery.
