Job Summary

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a highly skilled Construction/Project Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction projects on campus, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage construction projects from planning to completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and University employees to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare and review project reports, including construction schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with University policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the construction industry as a project manager or leading a project management team.
